Legend, who is my pride and joy, entered my life at the age of two.
When he arrived, I knew that we would be the best of friends for life as he
just had that way of melting my heart.
The soul of my world is in the depth of his eyes.
Three months later, he earned his temperament certification and then went on
to attain his championship. With his wonderful disposition and his zest for life,
he puts a huge smile on my face each and every day.
He was seen at all the shows with his bestest buddy, 'Tickle Me Elmo', hanging
from his lips by either a leg or an arm. What a character!!
Legend was a one in a million dog. He sired some outstanding progeny; consistently
producing sound, substantial, deep bodied, balanced & very typey puppies.
He was proven as a show dog, a loving family member and a great producer..
He may be gone...but lives on in his progeny and in my heart!

Legend was named after the late great James Dean who played the character Jett Rink in the movie, 'The Giant'
Compared to the others in his litter, Legend was a giant and hence: Jett Rink!
Like his namesake, he is and has always been MY shining star!

This is Legend winning the veteran class at our local specialty only months before we said good-bye to each other for the last time.
He was nine and a half! What made it special is we did it together...
